Full time education: An education gained at an independent boarding school in England is still recognised as the best all-round education available anywhere.
A school’s website and prospectus can provide only a limited amount of information regarding its academic aims and facilities offered, in addition to fees, scholarships and bursaries available.
Schools vary in what they can offer academically and socially. Ideally a school should be selected not just for its academic record but also on its suitability for the child seeking to attend. Gathering sufficient knowledge to make an informed choice can take a great deal of time and effort, particularly for overseas students. MAG Russian can ease this burden by bridging distance and language barriers, providing recommendations and a short list of schools suitable for the child's academic ability, personality and interest.
Short courses: Short, comprehensive language courses are becoming increasing popular, allowing children to enhance their knowledge of English as an international business and communication language while still in full-time education.
The courses provide intensive language study in a classroom environment. Residential accommodation is also available locally with a host family carefully selected by the school, giving students the opportunity to practise their English while living in domestic surroundings and often enables them to study alongside students of other nationalities.
